Dear Person Who Rented the Museum for Your Work Event,
I’m sorry that, two weeks before the event, you find our parking “insufficient for our needs.” Remember how we strongly suggested several times that you make an appointment to tour the venue BEFORE you booked it, but you ignored us, insisted it was perfect, signed a contract, faxed it to us, AND paid in full?
That.
I’m glad you noted during today’s tantrum that making sure the facility will work for your event is YOUR responsibility because the way you complained about our two parking lots made it sound a lot like you expect us to go out and start pouring concrete this weekend.
And that’s not happening.
Sincerely,
The Boss
P.S. I loved the smirk on your co-workers face when, during your rant, I commented that I was sorry we didn’t have enough spaces and that some of you would have to park in the adjoining residential areas, but that none of us could magically create more spaces between now and June 23.
P.P.S. I probably shouldn’t have said that. But it was funny. Your co-worker thought so too.
